So pierced my own lip yesterday and.....?

My friend pierced her own lip and she had a nice bruise there for the next week or so but it turned out fine. You also definitely should have left the piercing in your lip no matter how swollen it was because if there is an infection (which there most likely is because of the yellow puss and bump) the piercing gives it a way out by pussing and such but now that you don't have the piercing in the infection is "stuck" in your lip which is the quarter sized bump!
