How did you purpose or were purposed to?

I purposed to my ex in a night club girls bathroom, then was picked up and thrown out the back door just like on TV. Yes there were witnesses, about four girls who I did not know, but I asked if I could enter the bathroom before I did. It was all over town the next day and one of my customers got a black eye because he thought the bouncers were just guy beating up on me. Boy did he have something to say when I told him why he had a black eye.
