How to catch Pokemon easier? ( Pokemon platinum 0?

Azelf is a pain. I've only managed to catch it once in four save files, and I rate myself as good at catching Pok�mon. As soon as you go into battle, chuck a quick ball at it. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not, after the first turn, don't use the quick ball gain, it's most powerful on first turn. If you've previously caught Uxie, it's pretty useful here, since it can Yawn, if not Budew learns Sleep Powder (don't battle it whilst you're still Budew though, you want a Roserade. You'll probably also want a Pokemon that knows the move 'False Swipe'. The TM can be bought from the department store in Veilstone. So keep False Swiping until you're on 1 HP and sleep. DO NOT use any moves that have even the slightest chance of confusing/burning/poisoning. If it took you a LONG time to get to this point, chuck Timer at it. If not, throw Dusk . You can buy dusk and quick from Pastoria, timer can only be obtained by doing jobs for the newspaper man or the Pokemon League. If all else fails, throw Ultra and hope you get lucky. If you're not dying to catch it, you can always just defeat it and it'll still register in the Pok�dex.
