Why does anyone like Wes Anderson films?

I just love the characters. They're always seem incredibly real and always have some huge flaw. It's funny stuff. I always expect good writing out of his movies. There's a lot of Hollywood cliche in a lot of movies and I generally feel like Wes Anderson does a good job keeping it out. Moments of silence, for example, never make it into blockbusters. He tells the story visually. There are a two kinds of people when it comes to watching movies, the people who watch them visually, and the people who listen to the dialogue. I'm in the 1st group, and I think Wes Anderson fans are almost all in that group. Like I'd bet that since you hate Wes Anderson you probably hate Sergio Leone, another director who is light on dialogue but heavy on visual storytelling. Maybe I'm completely off base on that, maybe you love Sergio Leone. I made a lot of umptions on who you are and what you don't like about Anderson because you didn't really say. But I hope this helps answer your question.
